Some intelligent animals like whale can assesses a situation and act accordingly as well as do something that he has never been trained to do. |

On the basis of the author’s experience, there exist better ways to explore animal intelligence than experiments designed to teach human signs, such as the observation from the zoo keepers.
3.4 Summary: sum up this passage and share it with the partner.
My own experiences make me realize that animal can do their best to think when it serves their own purposes, not when scientists ask them to, such as Tale of a Whale from Gail Laule, a consultant on animal behavior and Primate Shell Game of an orangutan form Zoo keeper. These stories show that there exist better ways to explore animal intelligence than experiments designed to teach human signs and that intelligence is meant to serve the survival. |
